IMPORTANT INFO RE: CAP-M-QUIK FILLERS!
Dear Cap-M-Quik.com customer:
As of Monday, August 31st, 2009, the Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA) is enforcing the regulation which requires
all purchasers of capsule filling devices to offer proof of identification
and registration of each and every capsule filling device purchased.
The same regulation also requires all Cap-M-Quik capsule filling devices to
have a sequential serial number which must be permanently affixed to the
device.
At this time, S.L. Sanderson & Company, the
manufacturer of the Cap-M-Quik filler, is diligently working toward
compliance by adding serial numbers to the fillers in stock. The
manufacturer was notified of mandatory requirement of compliance on Friday,
August 28th for implementation on Monday, August 31st. Future capsule
fillers cannot be sold, per the DEA regulation, until the serial numbers are
added and purchaser information recorded.
The strict letter of the new regulation would
dictate that we at EdibleNature.com would have to obtain an official form of
identification from each individual who purchases a Cap-M-Quik kit from us (such
as a driver's license number) and maintain a record of the identification
and serial number of the filler machine associated with it for a period of
not less than three years.
EdibleNature has made the decision to remove itself from the chain of
responsibility to support these new requirements and therefore we will close
out the product line. Once existing inventory has been depleted, these items
will no longer be available through EdibleNature.com.
Please note that this recent mandated regulation
will undoubtedly cause prices to skyrocket in the near future. We at EdibleNature.com will try to keep the price of the Cap-M-Quik
filler/tamper kit as low as possible for our loyal customers, but we
wouldn't be surprised to see the price at least double over the next couple
of months! We're so sorry for this, but it is completely out of our hands
at this point!
Orders for empty gelatin and
vegetarian capsules are not affected by this regulation and you may order
capsules without restriction at our low, low prices!
